Gifted a set of Campy Record/Fiamme Yellow Label wheels: what are they worth?
 

I'm totally looking this gift horse in the mouth. A manager at a shop I used to work just gifted me a set of wheels, the ones in the title, while he was cleaning out his mom's basement while home over the holidays.

The hubs and rims are pretty dirty and dull, but the hubs are silky smooth and the rims are generally straight with even tension, except for one possible small flat spot in the back. I don't believe it would affect ride quality.

Any idea what these are worth? I am not sure I'll have a good use for them, and am wondering what I could possibly get for them on a trade as far as value.

How many spokes? I can't help with the hubs, but for a while I was looking at Fiamme yellow label rims on ebay. They're expensive! I bid over $100 on a nice pair and lost it by quite a bit. Not sure what the complete wheelset is worth.

I have seen nicer sets of just rims like these going for $200 on Ebay. My guess is you could get $300-400 for the wheelset ounce nicely cleaned up trued.

If the parts are good looking, take the wheel apart, clean and polish the rims and hubs, and sell rims and hubs roads rely. Unmounted rims seem to go for more, relative to rims built into wheels. Ditto hubs.
