Cannondale SR900 Silk Road, Is this Price worth it?

Seems a bit expensive, but I have been looking for a Silk Road and haven't really had any luck finding any.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/cannondale-S...item1c2daa8595

Thanks.

I'd be looking to pay less than half that, myself. But it's not a common model, and if you really want it...

That is what like '95? I agree it seems pricey.

Personally unless I had a rebuild kit or a kit to eliminate that fork in hand I would not go near it. That fork and its suspension is very unique and if you have trouble with it what are you going to do?

There are nicer bikes at the Orange County, CA Goodwill store for a fraction of that Irvine, CA Cannondale. That's extremely high for an aluminum Shimano tricolor bike. You should see what the seller wants for his other ebay goodies; must have forgotten his meds this AM.

Thank you all for your advice. I think the uniqueness of the bike is why I am drawn to it, but you are right, it will probably be a pain in the neck to try and fix it at any point. And oddjob2, you're right ahahaha, he wants $75 for a tow hook....

The price seems high for a early headshock model Canondale. Plus this bike is at he age where a lot of stuff may need to be replaced fixed and and this are hard to find parts for basically if the headshock or headset need work the framset can quickly become a very expensive piece of scrap metal.
