What is my 1985 Bianchi Veloce worth?

Hi have a Bianchi Veloce which I purchased new in 1985. It is in perfect condition other than the back rim has been replaced with an aftermarket rim. It has all Campy "Victory" components. I no longer use the bike and it is just hanging in my garage. Any idea what I should ask for it?

Hello Jellyman, welcome to the forums. An '85 Veloce with Victory? They normally came with Triomphe but the two look so much alike it is hard to tell them apart. Do you have any pics?

Unless it is in pristine condition the value is likely to be around $250 to 300. If it is very large that may depress the value further. Is it Celeste or Metallic Violet?

Many things impact the selling value of a vintage bicycle. You can learn about these things in Vintage Bicycle Value. Also, when seeking value information on a forum such as this one, it is always wise to offer detailed information, coupled with good quality pictures.

+1, $250 to $300 in good condition in an average market. As stated, it should be the lower Triomphe components as opposed to Victory. However, to provide an accurate assement we'll need a good overall, drive side picture, detail pictures of the major components and your location.

Perhaps if I had said it was worth $1,500 or more we would have pics of it by now.

The '85 Veloce was a nice bike indeed, I wish I could find a nice one.
