I don't know much about that bike but I believe that brand was REI's house brand at one time. I wouldn't know what factory built them but someone here likely does. They were normall pretty good bikes at a slightly lower price than a comparable brand like Specialized or Trek.
This bike loks to date from about '90/91 because of the downtube shifters. I would suspect it has a decent DB ChroMoly frame and should be a great rider. The price is likely OK for the area this time of year.

+1 REI branded bike. During that era, REI sold nice bikes. But in the marketplace, they sell for lower pricing due to the lack of name recognition. To me, this one is priced too high. $300 will buy a name brand DT shifter bike from that era, that will hold its value much better.

Nice bikes and good riders, but priced a little high. A fair price would be around $225. Agree with TB on retention of value.
