2009 Specialized Allez Sport
Looking for a bike to use for commuting and possibly some triathlons. This 2009 Specialized Allez sport (58cm) is listed at $950. It includes shoe clips and a cat eye computer. The seller says it has fewer than 30 miles on it. Any advice or things to look for?
Thanks

I think it is high by about $200 , but don't know what your market is like. Retail was $1300 . The folks over on the "Road Cycling " sub forum will help you , also .

Constant tinkerer
New bikes drop in value just like cars, even if they are "like new." $950 is too much for a bike that retailed for $1300 and could've sold for ~$1100.
I agree with above, $700 sounds better.

+1 on $700. $950 is what I would expect to pay a dealer for a left over new bike.
