Peugeot PH9 Challenge appraisal & date
I have a nice Peugeot PH9 Challenge, I was wondering (i) what year is it ? and (ii) how much is it worth ? Here are the specs:
Peugeot PH9 / Carbolite Tubing 103
I'm in the hot market of Montreal, for reference Peugeot UO-10 will fetch up to 260-300$.
Information would be much appreciated, thanks

Still learning
As is, maybe $175. Reshoot your pics with a more inviting backdrop or at least brighter sunlight, get tires that match = $225

I have had a Peugeot Challenger, or two, and both of mine were Canadian made. I can't honestly say that I was impressed with the bicycles, however; they did offer a fairly nice ride quality and, let's face it, look pretty darn good, being a Peugeot and all.
As for how old is the bicycle, take a look through How Old Is My Bike? and apply the information contained there. Pay closest attention to Component Numbers and you should come pretty darn close to the actual vintage of the bicycle.
As for value, determining Vintage Bicycle Value is a tricky business and many of the trick have nothing to do with the bicycle, itself. The lase Challenger I owned...

...I sold for $150.00 (+ shipping costs) and was happy to get it. Of course, I live in a very depressed vintage bicycle market and few people where I live are at all intereted in vintage road bicycles.
