What model Peugeot is this bike?

I saw this ad on the Minneapolis/St. Paul CL. The seller is trying to pawn it off as a PX-10. I know next to nothing about Peugeot's but this bike looks far from a PX-10. With all the Peugeot experts out there can someone identify which model this is?

UO8, basic bike near the bottom of the Peugeot line back then. They're very pretty and they do ride nice but it's no PX-10.

Didn't you know? EVERY Peugeot is a PX-10

Yeah, it's a UO-8. Worth less than half the asking price.

1970's UO-8 for sure, not even close to a PX-10.
I would pay $80.00-$100.00 tops and only if the stem and seat post are not frozen into place, the UO-8 is a very comfortable ride.
I have 2 that I converted to single-speed with a coaster brake and I use them to commute year around in South Dakota. They are very durable, the only down side is trying to find the "French threaded" parts but they are around if you have patience.

I thought it was a UO8. Thanks for the confirmation. I was aware that most all Peugeot owners claim that theirs is a PX-10 however, I own a Peugeot Triathlon and I have never personally made that claim.

It is a UO-8 or similar the. I have found one of the quickest ways to tell a high end French bike from a lesser on is to look at the crank
if it has nicer vintage crank Stronglight or TA thee piece it is likely a fairly nice bike if you see cheaper looking cottered crank it's a cheap bike. Also better French stuff had black or chrome lugs with detailing and chrome rear drops.
