PEUGEOT TOURING from Germany

I picked this up in a trade, but at 55.5 c-c it's too big for me.
In one picture you can see paint damage that is similar on both sides, but the rest of the bike is very good.
At one time it was registered at, C F B Baden Soellingen.
I would like to know the value of the frame set. I have a use for the components.

That's pretty cool, I didn't know they made any touring frames like that with canti studs. Carbolite isn't sought after for a road racing bike but I bet it'd be great for a tourer.

I'd say at least $100 for the frame/fork/headest/BB if you're in any kind of decent market. I'd pay that. It's my size too! I would definitely leave the headset and BB in, rather than scare off potential buyers that may be worried about getting French or Swiss thread bearings for it.

Thanks Jake,
I really wish this was my size, I love it.
Normally the market here is good, but maybe because of the late spring it has been slow this year.
This bike sat for weeks with little interest.

$100 seems high for a Carbolite Pug frame. I can get complete similar mid 1980's Peugeot and HLE Carbolite's in northern New Jersey, greater metro NYC, for under $125 all day long.

IMHO, stripped of parts, but for the headset, BB, figure $50.00.

Are they touring frames with canti studs?

I was hoping that a touring Peugeot would be a bit of a big deal, but apparently not.
I'll sell it for whatever i can get.

Thanks to both of you.
