Ross Signature 294S?
I posted this in touring, but might be a little more knowledge on the subject here.

I found this bike perusing the local craigsmart. I've been keeping an eye out for a road bike to toy around on. I don't know anything about ross bikes, but it looks to have nice components, and the frame looks to be quality.
Is anyone familiar with Ross? Is $300 within the realm of fair for this ride?

Well, first off, you'd need to be well over 6" to ride this comfortably, probably around 6'3". That size is going to be hard to sell. It's already be sitting for 3 weeks, so the owner may be willing to take offers, It's circa 1985, $450 MSRP. IMO, fair value in an average market would be $200-$250, provided there are no major issues.
