Please help me identify this old European bike
I picked up this really tall FANTASTIC old Dutch-style bike and am having trouble identifying it.
The bike rides like a new bike.
It was owned by a farmer who had no shortage of black paint, and applied it liberally with a broom over any and all identifying marks. The front badge on the bike is partially missing (the first letter gone) and what is left is "*LITE".
I assumed that it might be an "E" that is missing so I looked up ELITE and then ran through the rest of the alphabet trying to figure out what the missing letter might be.
If anyone knows what this bike is, please tell.
Altenburger brakes
Schurrmann hubs
Shimano 3-speed hub
