I was watching an auction on a bike I was interested in a few years ago from France, starting bid was $1,000 with two days left the starting bid was moved to $1,500. It sold with one bid. I did not bid.
In this case, I don't think the frame will sell at the initial auction. But who knows.

Agreed. I like giving advice to people who want a bike to use and ride but not to flippers.
