1984 Panasonic DX 2000 12 Speed Handmade
I am wondering of the value of a 1984 Panasonic DX 2000. It has Hand Made and 12 Speed decals. It has the "Golden Arrow" Shimano Group (apparently a ~105 level group). The brake levers are nicely drilled. The crank says Super Custom. It is 61 cm from bottom bracket to top of seat tube.
There is certainly some rustiness but it actually rides OK despite only having a RD cable. It even has a rear "tire saver" (wire thing to knock glass from the tires before they imbed and cause a flat)!

I love Panasonic bikes! That bike is a great example just waiting for a rehab. If there are no show stoppers (stuck seat post, bent fork, tube dents, etc.) I'd give 75$ at a garage sale; maybe 100......

Still learning
Is that an original or replacement fork? As is, I'd say $60.00. Needs a lot of cleaning and a lot of parts.

Depends on your location. I would look into cleaning it up as best you can. Brass wool and some scrubbing can work wonders on rust. Replace bearings and grease in the hubs, bottom bracket and headset. New handlebar tape. New tires and tubes if they aren't tubulars. New cables and housing. New brake pads. Maybe a new chain if it needs it.
After all this I could see a $250 bike.

Needs a LOT of work. In very good ready to ride condition, I would say up to $175 around here. As it sits, $50-75.
