Schwinn Super Le Tour and Specialied Sirrus Values
Wondering if these are flippable for more $ in Portland. My gut tells me I could probably get $280 for the Schwinn and maybe $350 for the Sirrus but I want a professionals opinion!

Sorry, but I don't think they'd be worth schlepping back to Portland. They're overvalued for 128 degree riding in Phoenix for sure as they've been listed a week already.
The Sirrus is hard to find, but at near $300, would be fully valued IMHO. Le Tours are a dime a dozen and can be bought at garage sales for peanuts. I bought one sans wheels from a scrapper for $10.00 a month ago. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/8mh9fdzp3l3...2012.52.11.jpg |
How are you getting the bikes to Portland? If you already in Phoenix and driving back you may net a few dollars but... You'll have to drag the bikes into the hotel at night and them practically overhaul them to get cleaned up for sale after 3-4 days on the road,
This looks big for a 58 http://images.craigslist.org/3Fb3s43...7c4b151b73.jpg |
You guys basically said what I wanted to hear...they aren't the best values but I thought I would ask. I am moving back to Portland and currently live in PHX. I would like to find atleast 1 more medium size frame to flip along with a mint condition '87 Tempo I got for $180 completely overhauled.
