I recently obtained this Bianchi bike at an estate sale. I don't know enough about it to even discuss it intelligently. I know its from the 1980's and its color was considered to be "celery".

I don't know which specific model it is or anything else and I'd like to learn more about it before I decide what to do with it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mid 80's Bianchi Trofeo, I will let others give you values... But I will tell you the color is called "Celeste", not Celery - Although that might fit too, along with puke or bathroom tile green, or even better Sky Blue

That is pretty big talk from someone who owns a Ross. ;)

The Bianchi in question is a '85 Trofeo and should have Suntoru Superbe Pro derailleurs and mix of Ofmega, Miche, Modol other goodies.

Personally depending on condition I would offer around $250 but not over $300. It is a pretty good bet the bike needs a complete overhaul and new tires $130-150+ if you can't do it yourself, so $300 would be tops.

Ha! At least it's a normal color; People don't confuse it with a vegetable. Of course Celeste is one of the most iconic colors in all of cycling, I even saw a bunch of Treks painted Celeste in the TDF this year!
