Lets play name that Bianchi!
Picked this up thinking it was a Japan built only to find Italian threading. There is no rifling visible and it takes a 27.2mm post. I figure it is not anything rare but it is worth asking since I am not that familiar with Bianchi minutia

What's going on in the bench vise?
As for your frame... does either appear to be the real color? I would suspect you have one of the many mixed Columbus TreTubi/Falck, Alle, Special frames from the mid to later '80s. I kind of find the collection of the 'circle B' cartouche on the stay cap which sort of ended in '85 but a pumppeg, dual bottle bosses and 'B' on the crown all look '86 and later. Perhaps your frame straddles production years? T-Mar might get more specific with the serial

The "vice" is a VAR fork checker 
good eyes. I figure it is nothing special as far as Bianchi's go, the paint is all redone. I thought it might be Japan produced but the Italian threading threw me off.

It is a Casati fork I picked up, probably came from a 60cm frame or so. I don't have the rest of it though, just the fork

I have a VERY similar looking frame, and it's an early eighties Nuova Racing. The seat cluster treatment and lugs are nearly identical. Mine has a single bottle mount, and no pump peg, however. 86ish sounds about right?,,,,BD
