Info about a vintage steel bike
I need your help with some information about a bike I want to buy.
I found a vintage steel bicycle named De Santis, but i don't find any information on internet about such a manufacturer. The bike apparently is equipped with Campagnolo.
Do you know something about such a model, can you tell me some information about its value, or the frame quality ? Someone suggested me that probably was build from a large manufacturer from north of Italy and then branded with the name of a local bike shop.
I will post some pictures ( not good quality) maybe is helpful for you.
I will appreciate very much any information you can give me, because I must decide if it is worth buying the bike.
Thank you,
Mihai

If it fits, I would consider it. Nice lugs, the same as Masi used but much less reworking. Not a frame that had hand work lavished on it, kind of a blocky for crown, Not full Campagnolo, but some strategic use of it.
There is a bunch that the images do not tell, the utility of the wheels, if the bike needs a major service, (my guess it does), how much wear of the drive train.
I would think a deal could be struck, providing it is in your size. I would not consider this a bike to buy and resell.
