1987 Stumpjumper
Figured I would pull out my other older bike and see if it has any value, other than for personal reasons.
I have a 1987 Stumpjumper that has the original build other than the seat and tires/tubes. I have attached pictures. S/N CN708470
Needs to be cleaned up a bit, but still in good shape.
Not sure if it would have any real value at this point. If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate them.
Many Thanks,
Bob

Real value? Sure. $100 to $150 around here. Rigid frame mtbs are under appreciated right now.
+1 To below, if you were near me, I'd buy it and do a drop bar conversion to it immediately.
The earlier Stump Jumpers are getting collectible (think early 1980s).

Since it's basically original in nice shape good colour. It is worth something nicely cleaned up and serviced I could see it selling for around $200. This one just isn't quit old enough to be collectiable yet. The prices on nicer 80's MTB's does seem to be going up in some of the bigger markets. Also as said this one would make a great drop bar conversion I could see ti building up nicely as a heavy touring bike.

Not sure that it really has much monetary value to be honest, and I didn't really expect it too as it has been shared it really isn't a classic or vintage bike quite yet. I would hope for someone to get it though and try to keep it true to its original build.
