Peugeot Road Bike
The wife wants to try cycling so I'm looking for something inexpensive to get her started. Ran across this on craigslist, but not sure if it is worth it. I believe it is probably a 82-85. Any information would be appreciated.

Grab it if it fits (make sure you can stand flat footed over the frame without touching the top tube (it's OK if you are close). This is a nice bike and it looks as if it was taken care of. $90 is a very fair price for a bike with alloy rims in good condition. Always hard to tell from the pics but it looks as if it has seen little use.

If she's at least 5'8" it should be a fit. That's a deal and I'm surprised it isn't scooped up yet.

That frame looks pretty big to my eye. I am 5'9" and I am not sure it would fit me.

At $90, the worst thing that happens is that the B sells the bike on CL for $90 or more and the S learns something useful about bike fit.
