Dura Ace equipped bike start $600
Campy Record equipped bikes start at $600

600/Ultegra/Chorus bikes max out at $325-350 unless its mounted to a special frame
105/Athena equipped bikes max out at $225 unless its mounted to a special frame

STI/Ergo bikes add $75-150 to those prices

Top tier bikes....De Rosa, Colnago, Litespeed etc command a premium

I think, strip off all the Campy stuff , sell the bare frame on Ebay, that way the wheel-set and the groupo are taking No usable space hanging from my garage ceiling. Thanks Jack

In between these two is Craigs List. C/L on higher end bikes means you will get half or less of what you could get on ebay. And even with C/L, do not underestimate the time and effort it takes to prepare your bikes, create ads, deal with idiot potential buyers, etc.
...........well stated.

No no no - the best way is to pay your Bikeforums membership fee, take good pictures of everything, and post it all in the Classic and Vintage Sales forum.

Somehow we got from $100 to $850, and bike went from flawless to having a non-matching replacement fork and mtb headset.

Zebco award winner. Gold medalist.
