Small C&V Track Bike
Hello,
I have known the original female owner for a couple years now and she is talking of selling this bike that has been in storage since she won some Women's CA track title long ago in San Jose. Since she needs the money, I need your help with market value, where and how to market it. More here http://s934.photobucket.com/user/dve...?sort=3&page=1 Thank you.http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a...20Bike/001.jpg |
Looks like the early 80s work of Brent Steelman out of Palo Alto.
Clean it up, take a ton of good pics. Throw it on ebay with a starting bid of $999 and see what happens. EDIT: looks like this bike is shown on the "history" page for steelman cycles. http://www.steelmancycles.com/history.html check the middle of the page, left side. Give Brent a call, I bet he has some build info |
Oh My. See, this is why I ask questions on this forum. So much info to learn from all of you. I will most surely contact Brent since he should have first options on this bike. Thank you thinktubes!

Holy crap! A complete Dura Ace 10mm pitch track drivetrain. That might be worth more than the rest of the bike. It would be a shame to break it up but that stuff is worth a lot.
A few months back I sold a rear track wheel with the 10mm hub, cog, and lockring for like $300. |
