'85 Mongoose Full Chrome MTB value?
 

Not many of these around anymore, so before selling, thought I'd see if anyone had a ballpark figure.

'85 Mongoose full chrome MTB. Triple butted cromoly. Bullmoose bars. Huret RD, Shimano Tourney GS crank. Pitting on the BB shell due to design with cable guides on top leading to water pooling.

To bump this thread a little...

I'd put it up for $175 and see what happens. Condition looks pretty good but unfortunately the Mongoose name has long been tarnished by Walmart. However, most buyers looking at this bike will probably know it's not junk.

Might be some cross over interest from the BMX crowd that drop coin on early Mongoose bikes. Check out the bmxmuseum.com
