Mangusta 1000

I bought this off CL, I'm not flipping it just using it to ride myself. I wanted to know how much you guys think it's worth, I got it for $140. Needed a derailleur adjustment but other then that it's okay. Here it says it was worth $400 new https://sheldonbrown.com/bridgestone/...one6001985.pdf

A drivetrain side pic would help matters greatly. Hopefully that's your lock and not the previous owners with no key.

It would help if we had some info re components as well. I sold a chrome one a couple years back with 105 iirc for 300 usd. Yours likely less, but for a rider I think you did quite well.

Weinmann brakes, suntour a-3000, specialized 700 x 28c tires. The hoods, lights and lock are mine. I'll update with more pics later but I don't have my camera right now.

Maybe a couple hundred. The SunTour components are perfectly serviceable but not in demand. Most of the value is in the frame.

No value ideas here, but it looks like a very nice rider to me.

Looks nice, for a bike needing an overhaul, your purchase was at fmv.

The bike was produced by Mongoose in the 1980's. You got a good deal but won't be making money off this one. I've had two, both decent bikes.
