Ciocc Designer 84
Hey, I was wondering what my bike would be worth. It is a Ciocc Designer 84 made from Columbus SLX. It has internal routed brake and shifter cables and is in great shape. Right now it is built up with a complete Shimano 600 Ultegra 8 speed group. The seatpost and stem as well as the hubs are 600. I have the original brifters for it as well just prefer downtube shifters. I was wondering what the frame alone is worth and then possibly with components. I only have this one photo of the frame for now but can take and post others soon. Thanks a ton!!!

Up to $300 for the frame, up to $500 for the whole bike.

I've got a 1981 Roy Thame ( a Ciocc frame ) for sale here https://www.iambaughman.com/Misc/FreeForSale.htm
I cold set the frame to 130mm on the rear drop outs, so not a candidate for a classic restoration. I think the best way to preserve the value of these is either don't mess with them, or get them professionally repainted and restored with original decals etc.

Does "Designer 84" mean it was made in '84 ? - if so, an Ultegra component group with brifters would not be original (although makes it a better bike to ride, IMO) -- could have had a plain 600 group, but likely came with a Campy setup of some sort - unless it was made from '90- on, then who knows
