Help with old Raleigh road bikes

I've been looking around for a basic commuter bike since my old one broke and isn't worth fixing up. I came across this 12 speed Raleigh road bike that someone is selling for $150. I don't know what model it is. It has new tires and is in ready to ride condition. I am not familiar with Raleigh bikes at all, so can someone tell me if the asking price is too high?

Possibly a Capri, I had one that looked just like that. I sold it for $120 after a full rebuild, but I live near one of the largest universities in the country and it was just as classes were starting. If it's a Capri, it's got steel rims, so I'd say $100 max in near-perfect tuned up condition. If it does have steel rims, make sure it has new brake pads too. I'm noticing a couple little things on that bike that tell me the person who worked on it didn't quite know what they were doing, like the cable clamp halfway down the downtube.

Also make sure the bike fits you, I would guess it's a 21"/54cm frame from the picture, which will fit most people slightly shorter than average, 5'4-5'8ish.

Looks like an 85 Sportif with a replacement chrome fork. Not quite ready to ride either. Pass, keep looking.
