MIYATA 1000, 610 or Univega Gran Turismo, can anyone identify this frame?

I've had this touring road bike frameset, from a thrift shop find, hanging for years and could never figure out what it is as it was previously repainted.

I own a Miyata 610 and it is similar, except it has rack bosses on the fork mid-level, which my 610 does not. Also, the BB shell has guide bosses on the bottom, lacking on the 610. The rear rack bosses are also different from the 610.

A previous owner sawed off the rear brake cable guide stop and thought of having it repaired. Also, the fork steerer has a crack / split from most likely an over-tightened stem. It appears the paint was a champagne color previously.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks to me like either a Miyata or Univega based on the dropouts, rear rack mounts, and lugs. I would lean towards it being a Univega because the seat stay caps are not scalloped like the Miyatas. Also it doesn't have a pump peg like the Miyatas. As for year, I'm not sure exactly. It would be later than 1983, as my '83 Gran Turismo doesn't have BB cable guides, shifter bosses, or mid fork mounts. Maybe a serial number would tell the date of manufacture and possibly the brand.

It does have scalloped seat stay caps (not a good pic). I will try to upload another pic. I too kept thinking Univega, but it is closer to the Miyata 610, though my 610 is a 1982. I believe this frame is a 1984.

It's hard to make out the serial since the cable guide bosses obscure some numbers at the bottom of the BB.

One thing for sure is the frameset is lighter than the 610, lighter than any Univega I have come across.

It looks like the serial number starts with "T", if so, the frame was made in 1991. Also, the shift cable guides go under the BB shell which started to occur in the mid-1980s and continued on after that.
