Nishiki Olympic 12 value?
There's a guy selling a 1987 Nishiki Olympic 12 on CL for $160, i think that a little too much. The bike is all original and in decent condition. Any ideas on the value and the quality?

Nobody can give a serious opinion on that without pictures... Maybe a link to the CL ad?
[EDIT] But here's a link to the 1987 Nishiki catalog, which will give you a sense of where the Olympic landed in their hierarchy as well as a spec sheet. I've found Le Google very helpful in getting general info about any bike I may be considering.

Jack of all trades
Not apples to apples comp, but, I just bought an Olympic 12 for $20. It had 27" wheels, one flat, drewed handlebars, etc. You'll not find such a bargain in this seller. If it's ready to ride, offer $100. That's fair considering that riding season is about over.
