Peugeot Ventoux 12 Speed

I have inherited a Peugeot Ventoux, the frame however is too small for me, about 20" or 50cm, so I am looking to find more information on the model and estimate a fair value of it before selling it.

Also, I am not sure what year the bike is, nor do I have any manuals with it, all I know is that is has had a tune up: the brakes, gears, and cables have been replaced to my knowledge, and otherwise appears to be in good condition.

I have attached some images of the bike that may better describe it, and I would greatly appreciate any specific knowledge, advice, expertise, and/or appraisal!

Small size helps. 250-300$ here, I think, maybe a touch more due to very nice condition and Peugeot name. Start about 350$ and work down; take offers in the ball park. The bike is from the eighties; flip it over and see if there is a piece of paper with some numbers attached to the bottom bracket shell.

I am thinking more like 200 - 250 its a mid range nice looking bike, but given its age and 27" wheels, I think. Peugeot name adds value for some. Also depends greatly on the market area.

I have a one of these from 1986 - but mine has the original equipment, including 700 wheels (well, the helicomatic rear is shot). I paid ~$500 for it new.
I'm by no means an expert, but have been keeping an eye on Ventouxs. But it seems to me that it was all original, you could get close to the original $500. But given the over haul of this, I'm thinking more of half that ($250). It does seem to be a desirable bike/frame. But with the vintage market, you never know when some one is willing to shell out top dollar.
Your frame looks like my mid-80s frame. I would recommend lurking around, but expect to get between the $250 and $500.
Create a list of the components - you may be able to get more by parting it out. More people may be interested in the bare frame since you don't have the original components.

The cabling on the bike needs some help, looks like the housing is way too long. I would suggest finding a black saddle, raising the seat post 4" and rephotograph after the changes.

Peugeot catalogs are online, that is a mid 80's per the rainbow graphics.

$250-$275 in the spring market should be achievable, after you cleÓn up the cables.
