Gios Italia - Professional, Super Record or Compact? Unsure of year, know after 1979.
I am trying to figure out what model Gios bike I own. I'd also love to know the year. Please let me know if you need more information. I'm not a bike aficionado, I just love to ride! I am not sure of part names, etc.

you do not give your location. in case you are in the U.S. the agent for these bicycles at this time was a company in New York City called FAEMA Sales Co. they subsequently changed their name to FAMA Sales Co. their main business was and is espresso machines. the GIOS bicycles were something of a sideline for them. company founder/president is an Italian gent by the name of Ugo Quazzo.
afaik they have not been involved with GIOS for some years.

Thank you! Do any of you happen to know what year the bike may be? I did Facebook GIOS last night and will email this morning. I believe it might be from before they did serial numbers.
