Cannondale R500 CAAD worth the buy?

Hey I don't know Much about road bikes because i've always been a fixed gear guy and I'm wondering if this cannondale is worth the 475$ the major problem is the pretty huge dent on the the frame and some minor scratches .

I would keep looking. Even as a parts bike, at that price limited if any upside. Nor does that look like a frame for a 5'10" rider, too small.
