It's probably a Pinella around 2009 year. It has triple butted tubing which is great, it has a very smooth ride for a tight racing geometry. I would consider this price a good deal, if the bike is in really good shape...BUT, we would need to know the components first to make a better assessment, I think some of those came with Campy Centaur which was great stuff about the level of Shimano Ultegra. If you do get the bike, don't get excited about it at the pawn shop, kind of be casual about it, if the components are really nice make an offer of $550 and see what they say, be prepared for $700 but most pawn shops will bargain and I can't see why you couldn't get it for $625 to $650, but if push comes to shove $700 is more than a good price if it has all Campy Centaur group.

That's a 2005 Bianchi Veloce.
https://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/B...e#.UvCcN7S5gUw

I have a 2006 Bianchi San Mateo, which other than its aluminum & carbon fiber frame, is similar to the Veloce. They both have Campagnolo Vento wheels and Campagnolo Veloce groupsets, the biggest difference being the Bianchi Veloce comes with a triple crankset. The Campagnolo Veloce groupset is a notch down from the Centaur groupset rekmeyata mentioned. I paid about $700 for my San Mateo a few years ago, in like-new condition, with pedals and various accessories. Personally, I'd expect to pay somewhat less for the slightly older Bianchi Veloce, especially with the passing of a few more years, but that can vary depending on your local market.

I thought it was Pinella, it looked like one I recalled from memory...my memory must have been wrong, thanks for correcting it.

It's a nice bike but overpriced IMO for Veloce and that goofy wheelset. I'd rather have a paired spoke design than groups of 3. Seriously, WTF?

There's nothing wrong with those wheels, Campy makes a whole line of wheels like that, their probably the Khamsin or maybe Vento models...maybe a model no longer made? But the spoke design is still made today by Campy.
