In as-is condition $80 tops. Neglected and needs a full overhaul.

Overpriced and not as collectible as the current owner seems to believe it is, especially the tires. Fixed up and ready to ride, it would be within the proper price range.

That's the low end of that Panasonic series. Unless you really like the paint job, I'd say $60. For that price and condition I'd look for one of the better models. They pop up on the surrounding area CL ads now and then.

Get the Lotus or the Univega, whichever fits better.

Seller thinks he's sitting on gold, which is very common. Eventually the market will tell him otherwise. Whether he listens or not is up to him...
No one (in their right mind) cares about having the original tires or whatever on a bike like this. This is a lower end rider, and worth $50-75 in its current state assuming the seatpost and stem are not stuck. And I would be VERY scared of that seatpost the way it's slammed into the frame like that.

This guy is watching too much TV. Total rehab will put that bike at about $250. 40-50 bucks in present condition. It was a good solid entry level bike and needs to be totally rehabbed.
