Toe clips.............any valuable ones?

I was cleaning up and sorting parts today. I "strung" all my accumulated toe clips on a 3 foot wire tie for storage. After removing many for buyers, I take them off all of my flips. I don't know if I have any that may be valuable. Any to look for?

Yes the Shimano 600 type are fairly valuable expsecially if if you have the chrome steel ones in a medium size. Also I have done will with nicer vintage chrome ones if there in excelent condition. The majority are really on valuable if you have the matching pedals in good shape.

You still come across toe clips that are priced crazy high because they are aluminum and supposedly "rare" (Just check out Ale brand aluminum toe clips at aBay once in a while and see the wild but often price fluctuations on them),......but wait long enough and a pair of sanely priced ones will usually pop up shortly after..... Same goes for some toe straps. But I do agree that many proprietary to certain pedal toe clips might get much more expensive as they reach "unobtanium" status as the years go by....

...these run small, so the mediums are roughly equivalent to small. I probably have fifteen pair of these Shimano
aero pedals on various bikes, and for a while I tried to sell some of the medium clips on the for sale thread with
little interest.......but I'm not exactly a marketing genius. I definitely need the large.

I'm gradually moving back into rebuilt quill pedals from that high quality Japanese era. I find I like them almost as well,
and the whole unobtanium thing is offputting.
