What year is this Hoo Koo E Koo?

I have this bike I picked up at a garage sale in New England about 6 years ago. I know it is a Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo, but no idea what year. The front forks say "Evolution" on them and there is a tag that says 16th anniversary.

can anyone help me out? any idea as to value?

I believe it is an '89 or '90. Nice bike but alas used MTBs have little resale value even nice ones. In great shape and finding a someone looking to replace her long lost HK II you might get $150 or so. Needing a tuneup and possibly some tires (those look pretty tired) maybe $75 to 100.

Any other pics? that has a much larger headset than usual right?

Thanks so much.

I have been thinking of getting a new bike but I think I'll just have this one tuned up a bit.

I've got one of these too. If you're just riding pavement, scrap the knobby tires in favor of some road slicks, 1.75" wide or less. Makes a world of difference in smoothness and speed.
