Gios Compact - value?

Gios Compact - value?
Hi all,
I'll be brief and to the point. I'm looking at buying this Gios Compact PRO Steel Frame Frameset Perfect 50 CM Campagnolo Record Columbus | eBay Gios Compact frameset. It's advertised as a Compact Pro, however, this appears to be the slightly older 'Gios Compact - no year given, but based on my research it appears to be post-2000. Looks to be in perfect condition. 50cm.
The buyer is asking 850gbp, but i'm looking at going for 650bgp (~$1,200 AUD).
Thoughts ?

Lots of glossy pics and hype but I don't see which, if any, Columbus tubing. I agree though seems crazy high.

That's a bit much for just the frame/fork! Conservatively speaking I would say max $600usd or $500 as first offer. Track the auction to see if the Gios is re-listed. Be patient, good things come with time

...$500 AUD? That seems a little on the low side - I can buy a cheapy Reid cycle ss for that much these days. The Item has been re-listed, with a 50gbp price drop - seller refusing to take less than 625gbp (inc shipping).
