ID this Miyata

I came across this bike and will hopefully have a chance to buy it soon. I haven't seen it in person yet so can't ID 100%.

Its a miyata touring model, you can see the braze ons. What model and what year though?

To get model and year, better pictures are going to be needed...maybe a serial number...and DEFINITELY a picture from the drive side...

Yup. Already requested and waiting for a reply. The seller stated it's a 600GT but that can't be right as the 600GT was only sold in blue from what I understand.

I'm fairly certain it's a 1986 210. The graphics are late Miyata. 210s only had cantilever brakes in later production runs. The gold color is also indicative of a 210. I believe the 1985 only had one set of bottle braze-ons. This one has two, making it a 1986. The brifters were added later by someone who owned the bike.

It could also be a 1990 Miyata 1000LT couldn't it?

I don't see a rack boss on the fork - I think the 1000LTs have those.

I don't think '86, the decals aren't right. I think it's an Ivory 610 or 210, not sure of the year.

I'm fairly certain that's gold and not ivory. Also, it can't be a 610 because 610's had mid-blade lowrider mounts during the years with those graphics.
