MIELE bike value?
I just got back from a shop here in Central Ontario (Canada) that has nice purple MIELE racing bike for sale. Price is $300.99 firm. Bike has Columbus Cromor tubing and has all Shimano 105 parts and is 7 speed Hyperglide with downtube index shifters and has dual-pivot brake calipers. All the 105 parts are a grey anodized finish.
How does a Cromor frameset compare to Columbus SL? Is it above or below it in quality? I looked here but I'm not sure yet:

No pics as i didn't have my camera with me. I know that in the U.S.A. MIELE isn't valued as much as here in Canada. Is this bike worth the $300.00 asking price?
Cheers from Miele Man

Depending who you talk to CroMor is a step or two or three below SL but it definitely below.

In Toronto, that bike would be snapped up pretty fast at $300, especially if it is tuned and has good paint.
Usually less outside of Toronto, Ottawa prices can get up there too.
Nothing wrong with CroMor, for most riders its fine. Yes, its heavier than SL, but less than the difference between a full and empty water bottle.
