Shimano Dura-Ace EX - In Demand ?

Just wondering if there's much of a market for vintage Shimano EX. I have most of a group, used, that I don't really have a use for.

Luke warm market. Dura ace really didn't come into its own until 7400. Keep your expectations low.

Depending on price, I would consider it as a buyer.

Agree with KAS. Interest pretty much peaked when it became known that Armstrong used the brakes in the 2004 tour. More minuses than pluses with this group. I would sell the calipers on their own.

I believe the above comment is incorrect - LA used AX, not EX. There isn't much interest in AX, and there's less in EX. There is also more EX out there. It's a pretty pedestrian group - a Japanese campy clone that sold on price, not its merits. AX is at least interesting insofar as its different.

Yup, DA didn't really gain momentum to be what it is today until 7400- the slant parallelogram changed a whole lot.
