Dusika bike

Greetings!

I found a vintage bicycle, don't know which year. All I know is that there's a metal card on a head tube on which is engraved "Dusika Wien" and there are olympic symbols on the card as well. There is also written San Remo on a down tube of the bike. The seat is made by Brooks (champion standard B17). Can someone tell me is it worth anything?

I agree some good pics and more information about the parts and location of the bike. Are you in Austria? I am seeing references to a velodrome when I search Dusika Wien. and a few pretty bikes, this one is from 1954

It's almost the same like the one you posted (if not the same) , just it's black. I'm from Croatia, but the bike is originally from Austria, Wien.

thanks for all this information on the Dusika marque. a local-to-me bike shop has had one on display for many a year. it is a grey entry level road racing machine from around 1960. similar in concept to the Peugeot PA-10 and Gitane Interclub of the bike boom years.

now i know who the maker was.

thanks again.

Great story regarding Herr Dusika, and very similar to Otto Cap's story -- Vienna-based bicycle racing champion starts his own bicycle company. Fortunately, Otto had son, Harald, to carry the torch, so to speak.

Based on the frame geometry, I'd consider this closer to a UO8 than a PA10.

do not see where anyone suggested machine under discussion is similar to either.
