Value of Shimano 600 groupset?

After some debate I decided to update my Ironman to full modern 10 speed group. So I have a complete 600 set and curious how to price it. It's is mechanically great. Not mint aesthetically but pretty good for 25 years old.

Those are great parts. 2nd tier shimano stuff right before the change to 8 spd, so one can argue that its some of the finest 7 speed gear you can get for a 126 spaced frame

Obviously it depends on the buyer. For example, me! I kitted out my raleigh with that exact group, and was anxious to do so, so I made the decision to splash the cash a bit in order to get the parts asap. I got everything you show above plus headset, bottom bracket, and wheels with 600 hubs (rear rim was bent badly, so the seller didnt really factor it into the price) for 260 on e-site.

yours looks to be in great shape and has even less "cosmetic damage" than mine, and you're including the hoods, which is awesome.

I think I did well, but I'm very very curious what the others say.

Anyway, thats my slice of the current market pulse

PS I wouldnt have bought the stuff all individually, even if the price totaled the same. Thats my personal story, I needed EVERYTHING, and didnt want to deal with one by one buying, but others will be different.

PPS whats that lockring on the top right of the first photo?

I think that's ballpark, and likely you could sell it on BF as tricolor is very popular here. You should include the BB since it goes with the crank and won't fit your new components. Assuming headset will stay with the frame, but how about the wheels? If also in good shape and with matching hubs and rims, they would add another $100.

In May, I paid $250 to a fellow member for a Tricolor group, including rims and brifters. Shipping included. Some rash on on RD and an emblem missing on one brifter.

I would be interested in the crank set if you decided to part the group out.

Thanks guys. I will be selling the bottom bracket with the group. Just don't have the right tool to pull it out yet (it's in the mail). I'm keeping the headset with the frame. I also have the wheelset which are Suzue hubs and Araya rims. The rear wheel has a bit of an up and down hop that I have not been able to get rid of. It's true enough to ride as I've been riding it for a few months but it may have to be rebuilt with new rim at some point. The 7 speed free wheel is about 3 months old and the brake hoods are also new. The original hoods were white and they were so dirty I didn't want to put my hands on them so I purchased new black Shimano hoods for the levers.

I'd love to have them go to a fellow member of BF instead of going on ebay.

If the wheels do not have matching hubs to the set and one hops they add no value to the group.

Pay your membership, it's like $10, avoid the ads, and list it in the C&V for sale section.

Thanks for opinions. It looks like eBay auction could bring $150-300.

Any thoughts on my wheelset? Suzue hubs/arraya rims. Rear wheel has an up/down hop but rideable. I was thinking CL for $75 and see what offers I get. Would it make sense to part them out and just put the hubs on eBay? I figure they'd be cheaper to ship
