TITAN - Swiss 80s?? (x2) restore/ID/help!
I've been offered these two TITANs, can anyone offer any advice on value as they are? I'm looking at taking on my first restoration project and maybe one of these is the one......
The German paint job is running Shimano 600, and the other, Campagnolo, if this assists in anyway.
Thanks for any knowledge you may have on these models/brand or similar projects.

Not sure of German pricing as well but I see no need for much restorsation. If the paint is cool original paint is good and all the components only minor stuff nicks cratches are in good working order. These are Damn fine well made bikes ride ready pretty much as picutued $400-500 and $500-600. As is $300 and $450.

I haven't posted for years due to my retirement, moving and building our new home in Oregon but just came back and saw this thread. Here is some Titan info + a link for much more:
The Swiss company that sold Titan bicycles became insolvent in the late 1980's. Aapparently, quite a number of bare frames were left in a warehouse. Years later these NOS frames and a few built up bikes began to be sold on e-Bay, first by a German fellow and later by a couple who lived in Indiana. Most of the frames had no Titan decals or tubing decals applied at all & those that did had various Columbus tubing decals such as Chromor, Aelle, Thron, SL and SLX, that seemed to be applied indiscriminately, so are suspect. At any rate, the frames were reasonably well built, claimed to be Columbus tubing of some kind, had "custom" paint, Italian or English bottom brackets and weighed from 4 to 5 pounds.
All of these frames were built in Italy to Titan specs but the maker remains unknown. Some speculated Guerciotti since some of their frames had custom paint by the same painter who did the Titans.
There was a large Titan thread on BF that was lost in a server crash but some of it is re-constructed with new info added here: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...itzerland.html This is most of the info available on Titan Frames. Don
