Old Bike Restoration: Northeast?

I have a Schwinn Corvette, circa 1966, that needs restoration. Does anyone know of anyone in the northeast (MA, NH) who does this kind of work?

What do you mean by 'restore'? Do you mean remove everything from the frame and strip the paint and repaint with new decals and clean and reassemble all the parts> Or simply do an overhaul and good cleaning and reassemble?

Having a frame professionally repainted can start at $200 and go up from there depending on a host of options. Having someone else do all the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly can run to $150+

Any pics?

I'll drag it out and post some pix tomorrow. But it needs the full overhaul, not just a cleaning.

The Corvette was discontinued in 1964: Schwinn catalogs, 1961 - 1970 (186 of 765)

OK, it was offered for one more year (1965) as the Corvette II: Schwinn catalogs, 1961 - 1970 (307 of 765)

Since there was no Corvette for '66 and later I'd make sure you really know what you have before spending money to restore it, as a restoration will likely cost much more than the bike is worth.

Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire are expensive for a paint spray. I couldn't find anything less than $300.
