Claud Butler Regent Tourer

Hi all,
Was hoping someone could help me identify the model/year of this bike? It looks similar to the 1991 tourer, but I haven't been able to find one identical to this.
Any ideas of a value would also be appreciated
Many thanks
Maddy

...have you looked here ? That looks like one of the later production models of a a Claude Butler bicycle, which was by then another marque produced by Holdsworth. There are many catalogs at the link.

The Regent, in burgundy only, appears to have been an offering produced by Falcon in 1991 and 1992.

What you have is a 531 bike with 90's components, thus a pretty well made and good riding bicycle.

The step through design will make it more difficult to sell for a premium price, unless you find the appropriate buyer looking for a high quality bike, but with that step through design (usually a shorter woman, looking for a quality bike). I think I'd have trouble selling it here in Northern California for more than $350-400 because of this. But you might do better somewhere else, in which case you'd need to either be in NY, SF, or LA or maybe DC, or even up in Portland or Seattle where this stuff has an audience willing to pay a premium for it.
