3 Bikes to Choose From - Help Please

Hi Hi,

I'm looking at these 3 bikes currently on San Francisco Craigslist:

1. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/4649570774.html
2. Classic shogun bicycle
3. 56cm Univega road bike

I basically know nothing about bikes and was wondering if yall could help me figure out which one/s are worth their price or not.
Which one would be the best to buy in your opinion?

Thanks!

Yall? Obviously not an SF native.

The Univega is a nicer ride than the low end Shogun. If the dings are dents, then check them carefully and if you still want it start really low as far as price. At $200, it should be dent free.

only the Shogun is left, and its pretty low end for the price. Keep looking but get yourself educated because any good deal sells almost immediately. There has been a lot of links to sites posted in this forum on how to pick a used bike. Use the search feature to find them.

The Shogun is pretty low end for the price but OK for SF for a vintage road bike with alloy components and wheels in good shape. Will likely need a full servicing and tires about $100 so not a great deal. I would keep looking and get a little more knowledgable realy good deals on vintage road bikes don't last long in this market most will be gone before you have a chance to to do a lot of research or wiat for feedback from here.
