Nishiki Comp II
What group should be used to build a Nishiki Comp II?
Please see the frame pictures in the C&V Sales

I just gave one of those Nishiki frame and fork sets to a friend. It, too, was a big frame. Fortunately, I have the Suntour Cyclone first generation transmission, in excellent condition, with down tube or Barcons shifter sets, depending on one's preference.

The seller's best guess on age of the frame was 1980. I checked my parts bin. I only have a cyclone front derailleur. No rear derailleur or crank. I used the Cyclone rd on a Trek. bummer.

I have an Ultegra STI Set that I purchased for another build that never happened.
I would trade that for an equal value vintage Suntour group.
thank you.

What about Suntour Sprint friction front and rear derailleurs, Sugino 175 mm crank, Suntour Sprint brakes, and,... I am without a matching hub/wheel set......
(I was hoping for complete Suntour Cyclone drive group, as I have a set of Cyclone hubs that would go well on the Comp II.)
Anyone have a set of cool Suntour Sprint Hubs appropriate for the build????
I am sure I can scare up a freewheel.

I think a set of nice Sprint stuff would go nicely with this bike also.
