Thin blue line bikes?

Hey yall, Im new on here and have just started getting into road cycling. Ive been riding onn my restored miyata with sr Xcm components for a while, and was looking to upgrade. Does anyone know anything about thin blue line bikes? They were made in toronto by what is now silent sports, but i have no idea of the quality or value. Here is the one i was looking at. I sort of assumed it would be a good deal, shimano 600 groupsets are probably worth 400 on their own. Also if you have other suggestions for an affordable mid range bike, let me know.

Price Drop Thin Blue Line Canadian vintage racer

Thanks, Wynn

Haven't heard of the mark, but the bike has nice parts and is supposedly Cro-mo, I'd say $400 is a fair price for it.

Just so you know for the future, there's a dedicated thread for appraisals.

The parts and the wheels look nice.. I heard Toronto is a hot market for used bikes, so it is probable a fair price if the bike is in working condition. Old brifters tend to gum up, make sure that you are able to change all the gears.

If you get more into cycling and wish to up grade the frame down the road.. the wheels and parts wouldn't be too out of place on a more expensive frame..

Thanls for the help, i was sortof thinking about maybe upgrading the frame later. And it is really almost new, so i would hope the shifters are fine. Also im actually in Victoria, BC and the market here is crazy. Old department store bicycles often fetch more than what they cost new 20 years ago if they are in good condition.
