1991 Bridgestone RB-2

I bought this a few years ago, did a couple upgrades, but haven't ridden it much. Considering selling, but not quite sure what it's worth or where the best place to sell it would be (CL, eBay, ?) Rides beautifully still, although the paint is definitely dinged up in a few spots. No rust or cracks in the frame. Wheels are true.
  • '92 Bridgestone RB-2
  • New Nitto Pearl Stem (I have the original as well)
  • New MKS Touring Pedals
  • New Turbo Saddle

Edit: My kid apparently slammed the keyboard before I submitted, hence the crazy title.

You could try Bicycle Blue Book - Used Bikes as a starting point or search ebay for previous sales. Also to get an idea.

Bicycle Blue Book is kind of worthless IMHO. Lookup ebay solds for the RB-2. If you want help, we need details or photos on the componentry.

+1 on the seat, find a cheap substitute.

Most of the value is in the frame in this case. I don't think the Dallas market would be an easy sell, but is free to try. List at $325 and lower your asking price if it doesn't move in 2 weeks. Also, list in Austin. If you're willing to ship, try $400 BIN on ebay, plus $75 for shipping and handling.

+1 I am more in the 250-275 range than any higher...you can find RB-1's for the 350-400 range...

@guzziee, got your PM, but the system isn't letting me reply. (Strange as I've been a member since '06!) If you don't mind, PM me your email and I'll hit you back. Thanks.

It's not how long you were a member, it's that you need 50 posts, and you only have 38.
