1984 Puch Mistral E - Approx Value?
I have a Puch Mistral E, which I purchased new back in 1984.
I'm wondering whether this type of bike is something that would attract interest from vintage enthusiasts? What would it be worth?
The bike is in original and very good condition. All up, it wouldn't have been ridden more than half-dozen times.
It comprises the following original parts:
- Colour: Blue/white decals
- Campagnolo Gears
- Frame/Forks: 2500 High Tensile Fork Blades/Steel Tubes
- Weinmann Lever brakes
- Normandy Luxe Competition Hubs (Red Label)
- Friko Super Touring Handle Bars
- Christrophe Footpedals and leather straps
- Thun - geschmiedet 170 Cranks
- Weinmann 700c 16 X 622 alloy rims
- Laser Seat
- Zefal Competition Pump
Apologies, but can't get a photo uploaded

Provide hyperlink to a hosted photo site like flicker. The frame is all high tensile?

When I was a kid growing up in the late 60s and early 70s there was one little bike shop that carried Puch in my home town. I thing that I remember about the Puch ten speeds that were on display was the rainbow of vivid, incredible, bright colors that were available. There were lots of Schwinn Shops and a fair number of shops that carried Peugeots back then, but just this one little shop carried Puch. I wanted one bad, and was saving my money and dreaming of the day that I would be able to walk into the shop and pick one out. But one day I rode by the shop and it was gone. Like overnight the shop was there, and the next time I rode by it was an empty building.
I haven't seen new Puchs sold in a shop since then.
