Here are pictures.
I bought it used for $280. Maybe I paid too much. I rode it a bit this year, and now I want to sell it. I listed it on ebay three times and eventually, it went for $84, but the buyer didn't pay, and I'm cool with that. I want much more than that.
Do I need better pictures? How to price it and market it?
Thanks.

I've found that pictures taken outside during the day tend to look better than pictures taken inside, especially if a flash is needed when inside.

incazzare.
Looks like new ones are anywhere from $399 down to $199, which seems like a crazy price variation. If the $199 price is legit, It'll be hard to get more than $100 or $125 for it.

Only if you're trying to scare your customers!!!
Also, I'd take a full bike picture from each side, a few showing any highlights, or lowlights, of the condition. And, take a pic of the headbadge, if there is one.

I've sold thousands of bicycles in Manhattan, throw it on Craigslist for $250, 75% chance a hipster from most likely Brooklyn will scoop that up. Good luck

I think you should definitely get more than $84.
A couple of things that I could see, is the fork is not really the same color as the frame, which makes it look non-original, even though I know you said it was original. That might scare potential buyers off. What happened to the decals? I'm guessing it came from the factory with them. Looks alittle plain-Jane without them. You might want to show one or two pictures of the bike when it was built up and racing at Kissena.
Maybe try a BIN for what you want, couldn't hurt. Or start it at a really low opening bid and see if you can draw some action. Risky, but it might workout if you can get attention.
I do agree with vanvanj above, try Craigs list. You live in a hipster neighborhood and the Hipster Capital of the World, Brooklyn, is close by. I think a hipster might pick it up for mashing around town.
If all that fails, bring it to Kissena Velodrome next spring and see if you can find a new owner there.
Good luck!

It rode just fine! I raced it at Kissena Velodrome this summer. No crashes. I didn't win, but I won't blame that on the bike.

Have you tried the fixed gear and SS for sale page? I think they have one.

Still learning
Not in PC NYC, otherwise the extremely tall Mayor may have you stopped and frisked.
Those decals that say "bike" are really too much. Maybe you can peel them off. I'd put a BIN on it and wait and wait and wait. It took many, many months, but I sold a 1986 Schwinn Waterford Paramount in Neon Orchid at full price.
Actually, IMHO, the photos are fine for a frame sale. You are missing the key word FIXIE in the title.
