Help! Bike newb has acquired 1996 Cannondale Super V 3000 and Unknown year Vitus 979

Hi guys
I think I am posting in the right section but please let me know if not..
I have been tasked with handling the estate of a family friend and know very little about bicycles. Im pretty sure the nicest bike I've owned was a $100 dollar Schwinn purchased used from a pawn shop.. These are way out my league! Any assistance, insight, or knowledge you can provide would be greatly appreciated. If photos of anything in particular on either would be helpful please let me know! Thanks in advance for your help.

You're in the right spot.........I'm not an expert, but they'll be a long shortly. I will say that the Vitus is gorgeous and should bring a pretty penny.

Welcome to the forum!

Old full suspension bikes don't hold their value because they are difficult to maintain and technology on full suspension bikes has come a long way. If you want to sell quick, I would say $150 to $200 on the Cannondale.

Okay thanks for your insight! Do you know if these came in different sizes/versions/etc or is it safe to just describe as Super V 3000? I was able to decipher the year from the serial number stamped on the bottom but I wasn't able to get any other info from that.
Thanks for your help
