To part out or not?
Rather than adding onto the other thread I'm throwing this one out for everyone to think about. I know what I'm doing but what are your opinions/thought and why?
I started out with a wheel set and cut the hubs out due the rear rim being totaled so were considering what to do with the hubs and freewheel.
Campagnolo Record hub set. 100F 120R 36H FRENCH freewheel threads, pre-CPSC flat skewers. Condition is very good, skewer chrome is perfect, hubs were only laced once and have very light spoke hole marking. Freewheel is a Suntour ProCompe 14-24 5 speed.
Sell complete?
Sell hubs and freewheel separate?
Sell front hub w/ skewer, rear hub w/ skewer and freewheel individualy?
Part it all out....
Part it all out and break down the FRENCH rear hub for its cups, axle and dust caps?

I usually sell hubs and skewers as a set, and freewheels separate. If they don't sell after awhile, then try breaking it down until its all sold.

Try selling as a complete set without the freewheel(ratio is a personal choice). Go international (especially in France on Ebay)! If parting out, sell the hubs and skrewers separately, may bring more money than complete!

To maximize $$$...part out completely...
Since it is Christmas time...sell the hubs/skewers together...but...freewheel separate, but do not break down freewheel...
At least...that would be my plan...

I'd sell the hubs as a set, without the freewheel. Why? Mainly ease of shipping, reasonable price maximization and a sense of completeness.
There's a reasonable chance the person wants their own freewheel - so that would get parted out. I think MOST folks need both hubs, not just one...and splitting them up might reduce market by making it a pain for the likely buyers. Very few people want to get the hubs without skewers, and I think that would also not provide enough incentive to overcome the extra shipping/photos.
